Honouring Yemoja: the goddess of sea, ocean, fertility and motherhood.

A glimpse into the inspiration behind our new collection
Some collections begin with a colour. Yemoja began with the movement of water.
Inspired by Yemoja, the Yoruba Orisha associated with water, motherhood and fertility, this collection explores the beauty, strength and fluidity of the ocean through silk.

Silk that moves like water
Silk felt like the natural canvas for Yemoja. Its fluid movement, softness and ability to catch the light echo the ever-changing nature of water.
Deep shades of blue represent the ocean and its depths, while earthy gold tones are inspired by the sandy bays where water meets land.
My interpretation of Yemoja
Rather than creating a literal representation of Yemoja, I wanted to capture what she represents to me: femininity, strength, nurturing energy and the powerful force of water.
The result is an abstract print that brings these elements together in a way that feels distinctly EKI SILK: African-inspired, contemporary and made to move with the woman wearing it.

Making an entrance
The Yemoja wrap dress brings the story to life through flowing silk, a flattering wrap silhouette and dramatic slits designed to create movement.
It is made for those moments when you want to arrive and be noticed, from a red-carpet evening to a summer celebration or an elegant destination escape.
Yemoja isn't simply about the ocean. it is about the woman who carries its energy: fluid, feminine, powerful and impossible to ignore.
Discover Yemoja (launching end October 2027) and make your own waves.
